Agland Team Members / Nathan Lubetkin Nathan Lubetkin, Business Development Manager, manages elements of Agland's domestic and international projects, as well as publicity and advertising. He also assists in researching, recruiting, writing, and preparing proposals for domestic and international projects. Lubetkin is responsible for developing and maintaining Agland's databases, including databases of consultants, past projects, newsletter recipients, and all active and prospective projects and proposals. Lubetkin served in the Peace Corps from 2003 - 2005 where he was a Rural Enterprise Development volunteer in Paraguay. He worked both with an agricultural cooperative and a women's art workshop to improve accounting practices and expand earning potential. Lubetkin's experience in Paraguay expanded his knowledge of agricultural issues and greatly increased his interest in international development work. Lubetkin holds a Master's degree in Latin American Studies from Stanford University where he focused on economic development. He received his undergraduate degree from Claremont McKenna College. He has lived in Paraguay, Argentina, and Spain and is fluent in Spanish and proficient in Portuguese. |
