Patrick C. McDonnell, Business Development Specialist, has a unique combination of experience in both agriculture and energy project development and planning. Mr. McDonnell is a recognized energy industry expert, with extensive experience in energy markets, finance, engineering, and bio-fuels technologies. He is currently focusing on bringing together energy and agricultural businesses, to develop biofuel, waste-to-energy conversion, and alternative energy projects.

Mr. McDonnell has extensive business development and management experience. He has worked on a number of projects addressing the development and operations of agricultural and energy businesses. Projects have focused on the business and regulatory aspects of building and operating energy production and marketing businesses. Examples include contract development for energy businesses, project planning and modeling for energy businesses, active involvement in regulatory proceedings, and technology selection assistance. He has also developed agricultural cooperatives, advised large agribusiness clients on the development of production and supply divisions, and established supply contracting programs for biomass-fueled power generators.

Mr. McDonnell holds a master's degree in Regional Planning from Harvard University and a bachelor's degree in Agriculture from the University of Missouri, Columbia.
