Associate Consultants / Agroecology, Natural Resources and Rural Development Lee Talbot - Expertise: Environmental Specialist - Experience includes numerous consulting jobs in ecology, environmental policy, conservation of biological diversity, land use and natural resource management. His clients have included many governmental organizations such as WHO, UNEP, UNESCO and UNSF and private organizations as well. He has served as Director General for the International Union for Conservation of Nature and Natural Resources, Switzerland. He has acted as director or advisor for a number of environmental organizations such as the World Wildlife Fund , the President's Council on Environmental Quality, and the United Nations Special Fund. He has been a visiting fellow at the World Resources Institute and a lecturer in universities. Lee has a Ph.D. in Geography and Zoology from the University of California, Berkeley. He has extensive field experience in ecology working worldwide and is the author of over 200 scientific publications. Larry Dale - Expertise: Agricultural Economics. Mr. Dale has been a resource economist for several projects for both public and private sector. He has worked extensively with water regulations, water quality standards and water conservation guidelines for the State of California developing markets and evaluating the impacts of proposed water use regulations. For the private sector, he has performed an economic feasibility study of a National Park marina, provide analysis showing potential market for fresh fruit and vegetables grown on an Indian reservation of Arizona and assessed potential mineral developments for nations of the Circum-Pacific region. Larry has a Ph.D. in Agricultural Economics from the University of Hawaii. |
